Your First Studio Experience

Young or old, if you are ready for your first professional studio experience, this package is for you.  It's also perfectly suitable for those that maybe do have some studio experience, but are content with a more casual approach to recording that doesn't include tons of time spent tracking and mixing the song.

What you get is an eight hour day at Rarefied with owner/Chief Engineer, Roy Silverstein. About 6 hours will be dedicated to tracking  a song and 2 hours to mixing it. This is a great way to hear what a professional studio can bring to your music. You'll walk away with a an excellent recording suitable for sharing with friends and family or using as a killer demo of your talents. 

After purchase, Roy will be in touch with you to schedule the session. 

Note:

1. It is expected that you and your associates/band members will be singing and performing all necessary instruments. Roy does not generally play on records or program virtual instruments and no session musicians are included in the package. Light editing and tuning can be done, but major drum editing and the like is not included in this package.

2. The end mix from this package will be of high quality, but it most likely wouldn't be considered "ready for release". A full days work on a mix is required to truly bring it to a place where it shines. Also, no mastering is included in this package. I can, however, at least bump up the level of the mix for you so it sounds as loud as most released songs.

3. The main purpose of this package is to give you a lovely days experience in a professional studio and to walk away with something you can play for people and enjoy yourself.  It is always possible to pay for additional time/services if you desire to bring the song up another level to the point where it's ready to be released.
