Together bringing over 5 decades of recording/mixing experience, Roy and Brian are extremely passionate about the art of record making and eager to share what they've learned with you.
Roy runs Rarefied and has served San Diego's local music community since the studio opened in 2013. He came up through the home recording side of things and knows what it's like having hardly any gear and working in bedrooms/livingrooms.
Brian is an independent engineer and mixer and cut his teeth in Los Angeles for many many years working with A-list artists such as Sheryl Crow, Tom Petty, Ringo Starr, Fiona Apple, Elton John, Nine Inch Nails, and Death Cab For Cutie to name a few! He has worked in some of the finest studios alongside top notch producers. We're lucky to have him here in San Diego and part of this workshop.
